Home deodorizers

Some places need an odour taken away, not covered up. A shoe rack. A staff locker. A wardrobe in a guest room that stays shut for days. A spray there just adds perfume on top of the smell. Our home deodorizer is a small bag of activated carbon and bamboo charcoal that sits in the space and does its work quietly, with no spray and no batteries.

Where it goes

The bag is oval and measures 12.5 x 9 x 1.5 cm, so it fits where a spray can or a dispenser cannot. In a hotel, think guest room wardrobes and housekeeping store rooms. In a gym or office, the locker rows and changing rooms. In a school or hostel, the shoe racks. It also works in a car, tucked into a door pocket or under a seat.

Colours and packing

Standard bags are blue, and other EVA bag colours are available. That matters more than it sounds: a hotel may want a colour that matches its room, and a company handing them out may want its own. Customised packaging is available too.

What to order with it

For rooms that need a scent as well, pair the deodorizer with a room freshener spray or an automatic air freshener dispenser. For vehicles, see car air fresheners.
