Fresheners and hygiene for hotels

Hotels use scent as part of the welcome, so the fragrance matters more here than in an office. Choose it first, then decide where the machines go.

Lobby and corridors

The lobby carries the hotel’s scent. A wall-mounted automatic fragrance dispenser with an adjustable timer suits the reception area and lift lobbies. Repeat the same model and the same refill down each corridor and every floor smells like the same hotel.

For the scent itself, browse air freshener fragrances. Oudh and rose read as warm and formal. Lemon spark and bliss are lighter and suit a business hotel. Smell a fragrance in your own lobby for a few days before you order it for forty corridors.

Guest rooms

Rooms need a lighter hand than the lobby. Guests sleep there, and a strong spray at 3 a.m. is not a welcome. A hand spray from room fresheners on the housekeeping trolley lets staff freshen a room at turnover without a machine on the wall. For suites, a water-based air revitaliser gives off fragrance without an aerosol.

Washrooms and back of house

Lobby washrooms need a soap dispenser at each basin, a towel dispenser or hand dryer beside it, a toilet roll holder from tissue paper dispensers, and a sanitary bin in the ladies’ washroom. Stainless steel towel dispensers and the SS hand dryer look right in a finished interior. Staff washrooms can take the white ABS versions.

Keep fragrance out of the kitchen itself. The staff washroom and the passage between kitchen and restaurant are where a dispenser earns its place.

Order dispenser refills with the machines, and send us your room count and number of washrooms. We will price the full list in one quote.
