Washroom supplies for schools

In a school, the washrooms carry most of the load. Half the school uses them in the same short break, so start there and keep the rest simple.

Student washrooms

Put a urinal screen in every urinal in the boys’ washrooms. The lemon, citrus mango and apple orchid screens have an anti-splash design that keeps the floor around the urinal drier. Keep a box of spares with the housekeeping staff.

At the basins, fit soap dispensers on the wall rather than leaving soap bars on the ledge. A sensor model means students do not press a pump. Beside each basin, add a towel dispenser or a sensor hand dryer. Hand dryers save on paper. Towel dispensers are quiet and need no power point, which matters in an old building.

Every cubicle in the girls’ washrooms needs a sanitary bin. Ours opens by hand or by foot.

For smell, an automatic air freshener dispenser on a long timer with a light fragrance is enough. Mount it high, out of reach.

Staff room and front office

Parents meet you in the front office. A hand spray from room fresheners kept at the reception desk, or one wall dispenser, is all it needs. The staff washroom gets the same soap and towel set as the students’ washrooms, in smaller numbers.

Canteen and hostel

Put a soap dispenser at the canteen basin and a hand sanitizer dispenser at the door. Keep fragrance out of the canteen and the classrooms. Hostel washrooms need the same set as the student washrooms.

Before term starts

Order refills, spare screens and bins before the term begins, when the campus is empty and your staff have time to put things up. Send us the count of washrooms, urinals, basins and cubicles, and we will price the full list in one quote.
